The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Ozamiz Branches have just celebrated its 32nd Anniversary. Standing pat on its slogan of being a “RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER” and not breaking its tradition of conducting a Free Medical and Dental Outreach Mission on its every anniversary, an outreach mission was conducted at Brgy. Calabayan, Ozamiz City on June 14, 2013.
This Free Medical and Dental Outreach Mission was made with the usual cooperation of the Ozamiz City Health Office who have sent its trusted medical doctors, Dr. Kent Cardenas, MD and Dr. Sheila Marie Valmonte, MD for the medical aspects of the outreach mission and Dr. Jojie Demecillo, DMD for the dental activities, together with the City Health Nurses. The outreach mission had served and gave free medicines to 405 patients and 32 patients have had dental extractions and were also given free medicines.
Since the year 1997, when the idea of conducting a free medical and dental outreach mission was started in order to act on its Corporate Social Responsibilities and standing pat on its slogan of being a “Responsible Community Partner”, for Ozamiz area alone, 17 free medical and dental mission were made and these outreach missions were able to serve 6,874 patients of which 5,944 are medical patients and, 755 are dental patients and 175 kids were circumcised.
The Management of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshops is very much thankful for the usual cooperation the Ozamiz City Health Office had given to us since 1997. We also give our gratitude to the Barangay Officials and Barangay Health Workers for their kind assistance and accommodations
