The FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOPS – Cagayan de Oro Branches marked its 20th
Anniversary of being established in the City of Cagayan de Oro with the usual sponsoring of a FREE
MEDICAL and DENTAL OUTREACH MISSION in one of the barangays in its area of operation.
The lucky barangay for this year’s outreach mission is Barangay Lower Balulang, this city
where the said outreach mission was held on July 30, 2013. This outreach mission had served a total of
748 patients of which 673 are medical cases and are 75 dental tooth extraction cases. The ample
number of patients served was made possible by the able professional services of Dr. AZIEL DIEL, MD;
Dr. FAHAD MACADATU, and MD Dr. SHIELA RAGUDO, MD on the medical aspects while the dental
side of the mission was made possible by the able services of Dr. RAUL NOTARTE, DMD; Dr.
FROILAN OLARETA, DMD; Dr. RICKY JAY ECHANO, DMD; Dr. SHERA ROU BOMEDIANO,DMD;
Dr. DIANA CARIAGA, DMD and Dr. WILLIAN PADILLA, DMD.
Standing pat on its slogan of being a “RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER”, since when the FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOPS started to entertain the ideo of conducting a FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL OUTREACH MISSION in all the localities where it establishes a branch, for Cagayan de Oro alone, a total of 10,968 patients have benefited of which 9,933 are medical cases and 1,055 are dental cases. This is over and above the fumigation in some are of the city in its “Operation: Dengue Buster” during dengue outbreak in the city, Operation: Kontra Bitok” for the deworming project for school children and distribution of “Talking watches” to some of the blind in this city.
The management of the FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOPS could not express enough its gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Cagayan de Oro City through its City Health Office that for the past 14 years have helped us stand true to our commitment and slogan of being a “RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER”, So, once again, we extend our thanks to the good people of the Cagayan de Oro City Health Office
We also give our thanks to the residents of Barangay Lower Balulang for giving us a chance to serve them.
