After twelve (12) years of being established in the progressive town of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur the FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOP have kept its promise of being a RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER despite the “double-whammy” it suffered a couple of years back. The first of which was the burglary it suffered which hauled all of the pawned items at the FJPS Molave branch and second is the fire which virtually raze the branch to the ground. For others, who are faint hearted, they would rather do business somewhere else or have some other venture. But the FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOP, like a “phoenix” have risen from the ashes of such devastation by reconstructing the burned down branch and have little by little replaced the lost items of the pawners which were carted-away by the burglars. The replacement were made at the choice of the pawner with the same karat and weight of the jewelry items they have pawned. At this moment, the branch had stated on a clean slate or it back on “square one” as the game of the trip to heaven goes.
Looking back on the past twelve years of its existence in the Municipality of Molave , the branch have conducted the same number of free medical and dental outreach mission through the joint effort with the Municipal Health Offices of the Municipalities within its area of operation. On the twelve barangays
that it have conducted free medical and dental outreach missions, 3,378 patients were served of which 3,180 patients were ion the medical aspect while 598 patients if which are on the dental side.
For this year’s 12th Anniversary Free Medical and Dental Outreach Mission, which was conducted at Barangay San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur, there were 296 medical patients diagnosed and given the prescribed medicines for free and 39 dental patients have tooth extraction and likewise were given the respective free medicines.
The Management of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Molave Branch could not express enough its gratitude to the amiable DR. WILSON LUMAPAS, MD and the ever accommodating DR. VIRIGINIA CLIMACO, DMD together with the staff, the Mahayag Municipal Health Office in making this outreach mission a success. Our thanks also goes to the Barangay Officials of Barangay San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur, headed by the
energetic Barangay Chairman Hon. Rogelio c. Mabanag together with the Barangay Health Workers who in one way or another have lent their hands in making this outreach mission in their barangay a success.
