The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Maranding Branch which was established in the progressive barangay of Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte on February 18, 2014 have celebrated its 12th anniversary with the usual perks, promos and give-away dole-outs.
The usual Free Medical and Dental Outreach Mission for anniversary of any Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop branch was held only on a later date because of the hectic schedule of the Lala Municipal Health Office Staff like wise with the FJP’s contingent. The date for the outreach mission was finally agreed to be held on April 08, 2016 and this time, circumcision for the boys will be added to the activities (because it is a summer vacation and the kids will have time for their circumcision wound to heal before classes opens.).
The lucky barangay which would be the venue of this Free Medical, Dental and “Tuli” Mission is Barangay Darumawang Ilaya, Lala, Lanao del Norte.
With the usual cooperation of the Lala Municipal Health Unit the vaunted outreach mission was a success. Two Hundred Thirty Six (236) patients were diagnosed and given free medicines, Twenty Eight (28) dental patients have had their decayed tooth extracted and Fifty Nine (59) kids have had their “baptism” to manhood.
The management of FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOP – Maranding Branch could not express enough its gratitude to the Lala Municipal Health Staff headed by DR. AVA OCAMPOS LIWANAG, MD for their untiring support to all the Medical and Dental Outreach Mission in heir area of jurisdiction and to DR. ZENAIDA RITES for her support in the Dental aspect of this outreach mission.
We also give our thanks to the Barangay Officials (particularly the Barangay Chairman) for their warm welcome and accommodation. And a heaping gratitude also due to the residents of Barangay Darumawang Ilaya, Lala, Lanao del Norte for giving FELY’S JEWELRY AND PAWNSHOP a chance to serve them.
