The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Sindangan Branch have just celebrated its 13th Anniversary of being established in this progressive town of western Zamboanga del Norte on July 24, 2016, During this anniversary month, the customers of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Sindangan Branch were treated to a 5% up to 15% discount on its displayed rematado items starting from July 15 up to July 31, 2016.
The usual mark for a celebration of any branch of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop on each of their anniversary is the sponsorship for a Free Medical and Dental Outreach Mission where free consultation and prescribed medicines were given to the outreach patients including the free tooth extraction for the dental patients.
The vaunted free medical and dental outreach mission of the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop for this year was a little bit delayed due to the hectic schedule of the Sindangan Municipal Health Unit. Eventually, the said outreach mission was held at Barangay Siari, Sindangan, Zambaonga del Norte on August 15, 2016 with the usual cooperation of the Municipal Health Unit of the Municipality of Sindangan. Barangay Siari is one of the biggest barangay in this municipality and the main source of income of its residents is through fishing and farming. It is also in this barangay that the bangus fingerlings and prawn fry abound which also augment the income of some residents through their trawl catching of the fingerlings and fry.
This year’s outreach mission was able to serve 314 medical patients and 15 dental patients. In this regard, the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop would once again acknowledge its gratitude to the Rural Health Unit of the Municipality of Sindangan headed by DR. LOLITA V. HAMOY, MD and DR. BERNARDO NAYRE who have facilitated the medical aspect of the outreach mission. For the dental aspect of the mission we also give thanks to the energetic dentist, Dr. Ma. Neonida Sy Simbulan, DMD. Dr. Simbulan is a private dental practitioner who have volunteered her services to the outreach mission for free because according to her “she is awed by the compassion and love shown by the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop to the residents of Sindangan and no other business establishment have done this outreach mission out of compassion and concern”.
This outreach mission was also graced by the presence of the very supportive Barangay Chairman of Barangay Siari who have reallied his Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Staff and Barangay Tanods to give assistance to this mission.
We also give our thanks to the residents of barangay for giving Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop a chance to serve them. We regret that this mission should have been conducted during the earlier years, but eventually it have happened because with the continued support of our customers and “suki”, there is always a Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop which is your “ RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER”
