This outreach mission was able to serve 246 medical patients and 14 dental patients.
The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Oroquieta Branch has just celebrated its 16th Anniversary on the 18th day of this month. The traditional Free Medical and Dental Outreach mission was held four days ago with Barangay Mansabay Bajo chosen as the recipient.
Since the Oroquieta Branch was established in this part of Misamis Occidental, it had sponsored a total of sixteen (16) outreach missions covering the same number of barangays within the area of operation of the FJPS Oroquieta Branches. Oddly enough, aside from the barangays within the City of Oroquieta, the outreach missions have covered other Barangays in the Municipality of Lopez Jaena (Barangay Puntod, Mansabay Bajo, and Macalibre Alto, which is one of the farthest barangay in Lopez Jaena).
The 16 outreach missions held in this areas have benefited a total of 5,331 patients of which 4,480 were medical patients (2,687 in the barangays of Oroquieta, 821 in the Barangay of Aloran, and 972 in the barangays of Lopez Jaena) and 851 who were dental patients seeking tooth extractions (665 in the Barangays of Oroquieta, 97 in the barangays of Aloran, and 90 in the three barangays of Lopez Jaena).
For this year’s Medical and Dental Outreach Mission, we were able to serve a total of 227 patients of which 193 were medical cases and 34 were dental cases. This was only possible through the able services of Dr. Arden O. Mangubat, MD, for the medical aspect of the mission, and Dr. Erwin Elvinia, DMD, for the dental aspect of the mission. We thank them together, as well as the nurses in the Nurses Deployment Program (NDP). We also thank the barangay officials, Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Tanods of Barangay Mansabay Bajo for their accomSmodation and hospitality.
The Management of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Oroquieta Branch would like to give its thanks to the Municipal Health Office of Oroquieta City, Municipality of Aloran, and Municipality of Lopez Jaena together with all their staff for being our partners in this worthy civic endeavor. We also extend our gratitude to our customers and “suki” in the City of Oroquieta, and in the Municipalities of Aloran and Lopez Jaena because your patronage with us for the past 16 years has made a lot of difference in our 16 Free Medical and Dental Outreach Missions. We hope that we will continue to serve you and prove that we are your “Responsible Community Partner” in the years to come.
