While Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop is known for sponsoring annual Free Medical and Dental Outreach programs
in the various areas its chains are located in, the Bohol chain is an exception, as Norris Oculam does not want the effort to be misconstrued as a setup to launch a political career in the province he lives in. Rather, his support goes to the Bohol Crisis Intervention Center, a refuge that houses young children who were abused in their homes by family members. The children live in the Center while court cases are ongoing.
Ever since the Bohol Crisis Intervention Center began receiving its support, Fely’s has donated a computer
and was instrumental in setting up a Wi-Fi connection. Norris will also occasionally visit the Center and give the children snacks and toiletries. This has been going on for more than a decade, and this year is no exception. Norris sponsored lechon to the Center on December 26, 2016 for their Christmas party, something he does annually.
