This outreach mission was able to serve 237 medical patients and 87 dental patients.
The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop- Pagadian Branches which now have 3 branches with Pagadian Branch I located at B. Aquino St. (beside Cerelles Clinic), Pagadian Branch II located along Rizal Avenue (beside Gaisano Mall) and Pagadian C3 Branch at 2nd floor City Commercial Center), have just celebrated its 19th Anniversary of being established in the City of Pagadian on August 27, 1998. Due to hectic schedule of the staff of the Pagadian City Health Office, the planned yearly FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL OUTREACH MISSION was always postponed, yet the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop- Pagadian Branches waited for the opportune time for the outreach mission to be schedule as it could never afford to let the year pass without the promised yearly outreach mission. Eventually this year’s outreach mission have got its schedule and the lucky barangay was Barangay Lenienza Pagadian City.
The Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop- Pagadian Branches have already sponsored 19 outreach missions within the area of responsibilty in as many years of its existence in the city. However, aside from the barangays of the city, it had also conducted Free Medical and Dental Outreach Missions in the adjacent towns of Labangan (in the year 2003 and Dumalinao in the year 2016). The other seventeen (17) outreach missions were all held in the barangays of the city of Pagadian. In totality, the 19 outreach missions have benefited 5,953 outreach patients of which 4,955 are medical cases and 998 are tooth extractions. This achievements were all attained mostly with the cooperation of the Pagadian City Health Office and also of the Labangan and Dumalinao Municipal Health Office.
For this year’s outreach mission in Barangay Lenienza, Pagadian City which was able to serve 237 medical patients and made tooth extractions to 87 dental patients was facilited with the joint efforts of the DR. EMMA B. SANSON, MD AND DR. GEMMA LIBERTY D. delos SANTOS, MD, together with their pharmacists, nurses and widwives. On the other hand, the Pagadian City Health Office have also sent a contingent of dentists (DR. JEAN COTINGJO, DMD, DR. DONALD JAY CONTINGJO, DMD;DR. ALMA REAL, DMD, AND DR. ALMA YAMUTA, DMD together with the City Dental Bus to serve the dental needs of the outreach mission. Barangay Captain Nancy N. Timtim of Barangay Lenienza was also around to help in the outreach mission together with the Barangay Lenienza Barangay Officials, Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Tanods. To all this beautiful people who have helped make this year’s outreach mission a success, the management of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop wishes to give its thanks and utmost gratitude. Above all our thanks are mostly reserved to the clients and “suki” of the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshops whose patronage with us have given us the chance to serve the people of Lenienza this year, the other people who have benefited the previous years outreach missions and all the other outreach missions which we will conduct in the years to come with your help.
