Last November 30, 2017, the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop thru its proprietor, MR. NORRIS C. OCULAM helps facilitate the holding of an early CHRISTMAS PARTY for the wards of the BOHOL CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER.
The Bohol Crisis Intervention Center is one of the projects of the Department of Social Welfare and Development which monitors, helps and give aid material intervention for people who have undergone a crisis in their life, particularly rape victims, child abuse and the like. It is one part of the DSWD which is least funded so, the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop’s proprietor and his friends came up with the idea to help facilitate another Christmas Party for the crisis victims who are under the care and supervision of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. The group of friends of Mr. Oculam chip-in for the planned Christmas Party for the wards. Mr. Oculam had been a benefactor of the BCIC for more than a decade now. He always gave lechon for every BCIC’s Christmas Party and occasionally bring toiletries and treat them with donuts and ice cream. Mr. Oculam even donated a computer to the BCIC and solicited from Ms. Bea Zobel for an internet connection for 2 years so that the children inside the facilities can enjoy internet usage.
