Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop celebrates its 37th Anniversary of being established in the City of Ozamiz, through its first major sponsorship of the 2018’s Buntis Congress with a theme “Himsog si Mommy, Baskog si Baby”.
Since 1981, Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Ozamiz, with its four branches, has customarily celebrated its anniversaries through community services by providing medicines for the annual medical and dental outreach missions. This year, the company continued to conduct its community services, yet, this time, through the event planned by the Ozamiz City Health Office. Thus, making Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop a major sponsor of the Buntis Congress 2018, of which the company provides giveaways, medicines and a good for 2 months worth of vitamins to every child-bearing participants.
The City Health Office has invited into the event – the chairman of the Department of Obstertrics and Gynecology of MHARSMC, Dr. Dionne Anna Kristine B. Ybañez, FPOGS, and the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of MUMC, Dr. Lucy D. Bugas, FPOGS, to talk deliberately about risk on pregnancy and nutrition needed on pregnancy and child development. Also, Mr. Rafaelito E. Paye, RN, MN, the OIC of Provincial Department of Health Officer, has been invited giving statements prior the formal closing of the event.
The Buntis Congress 2018 has been successfully conducted with a total of Four Hundred Eighty-nine (489) pregnant participants. With this, Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Ozamiz Branches would like to thank the City Health Officers and staff, especially to Dr. Holly B. Tago, MD, MPH and Mr. Paul Abtar Macascib Singh, RN, for giving the company the opportunity to participate in this year’s Buntis Congress.
