Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop joins the 2018’s Bohol Crisis Intervention Center (BCIC) Christmas Party last December 20, 2018.
The Bohol Crisis Intervention Center (BCIC), owned and operated by the Provincial Government of Bohol and Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD), caters young girls who are victims of abuse and are kept in facility while the cases filed at the culprits who are if not their own fathers, members in the family to prevent them in influencing the victim. The intervention center mainly provides care, protection, counseling, education or training and livelihood programs aiming to strengthen each of concerned girl’s capacities, capabilities and to provide self-direction.
The proprietor of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop, Mr. Norris Chin Oculam, being a member also invited the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran to join the company in helping celebrate the BCIC’s Christmas Party with the theme: “ Jingle and Mingle Christmas Party”.
In the BCIC’s Christmas program, aside from the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran gifts, they also entertain the children with several songs and as usual Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop brought lechon, fried chicken and distributed toiletries to all of them. The proprietor’s generosity to BCIC not only happens on Christmas but occasionally visits BCIC to distribute toiletries and treat the kids with donuts and ice cream. He also recommends BCIC to groups and individuals who plans to do charity in Bohol.
