This outreach mission was able to serve 500 medical and dental patients.
Responsible Community Partner. Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop have been conducting outreach missions, community activity sponsorships and distribution of food packs to cities, municipalities and any neighboring places where the company have currently been operating.
Unlike the Medical & Dental Outreach in Mindanao wherein Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop spearheads, in Tagbilaran, we just limit our role in providing medicines and vitamins and food to an organization who is doing the mission. It defers to the common practice in Mindanao branches because the proprietor hails in Tagbilaran and avoids the outreach being misconstrued as his effort towards running for a political position.
Finally, for the past 3 years, the Outreach Program of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop found a home as part of the celebration of the Feast of Birhen sa Barangay Shrine Parish under Monsignor Jeffrey Malanog who is a classmate of the proprietor in elementary. Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop not only provide medicines and vitamins during the outreach but, also, stuff the church’s clinic with vitamins & medicines wherein poor parishioners can avail for free whole year-round. And this year the medical and dental mission has served for about 500 patients coming from the different parts of the City of Tagbilaran.
Prior to partnering with Monsignor Manalog, Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop partnered with various LGU’s like the town of Maribojoc under the incumbency of then Mayor Leoncio Evasco Jr., together with the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran was a recipient of several medical and dental missions. The time of then Governor Erico Aumentado during the Bohol day celebration. Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop partnered with the Provincial Health Personnel in their Medical Outreach by providing the medicines and vitamins. Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop also, partnered with Bohol Chamber Commerce and Industry doing Medical and Dental Outreach to the inmates of Bohol Detention and Rehabilitation Center.
