Responsible Community Partner Part 1

The smallest act of kindness is worth living for than giving to attract the few people. In times of crisis, giving without expectation in return is a big achievement than anything else.

Mr. Norris Chin Oculam the proprietor of Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop and at the same time the Chairman of ABAKA (Alyansang Bol-anon Alang sa Kausaban), an NGO based in Bohol provides a simple gesture of help to the victims of bagyong Odette in Bohol. Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop donated 60 sacks of premium rice and hundreds of water containers. Mr. Gerald Tio owner of Route 88, donated 60 cartoons of Natures Spring and Summit. Ms. Mitch Sorocam of Women Empowering Women donated 50pieces of a 5galon water container.  And, Atty. Vic Ceballos offer his water refilling station to refill the empty containers for free and Mr. Rene Francisco also donated dozen of saws, hammers, metal tapes, and 3 boxes of nails for repairing their damaged houses. FJP’s and ABAKA collide to repack the premium rice. The packed rice is distributed to the selected beneficiaries in the affected area.  As an initial help, they received 5kilos of rice and bottles of water. The distribution will continue in the upcoming days or weeks to come.

Give to those who needed it most, is connected to the Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop slogan the  “RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY PARTNER”.
