Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop – Tubod Branch recently finished its long-standing dedication of ensuring family healthcare and wellness to the community by conducting a free Medical and Dental Outreach Program at Barangay Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao Del Norte. The annual outreach program is part of the anniversary activities, and it is not limited only to Tubod but to all nearby places where Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop exists.
This year, a total of two hundred thirty-seven (237) outreach patients were attended to, including two hundred two (202) medical patients and thirty-five (35) dental patients. They benefitted from free individual consultations, guidance, and prescribed medications, all sponsored by Fely’s Jewelry and Pawnshop. The majority of these patients are elderly individuals and persons with disabilities (PWDs) from low-income backgrounds.
This annual initiative has consistently been made feasible through the collaboration of the Municipal Health Office of Tubod, under the leadership of Dr. Maria Filipina C. Camins, along with the dedicated medical team. The Municipal Health Physicians, Dr. Ahmel N. Crisologo, supported by Mr. Julius Jayo, RN, and Dr. Myra F. Omar, work in conjunction with Municipal Health Nurses, including Ms. Eva Trabasas, RHM, Mr. Lebasi Vanini C. Lumingkit, RM, Ms. Cholie Mae C. Lahoylahoy, RN, Ms. Celyn Marie G. Jumawan, RN, MN, and Mr. Johnson Michael V. Laspobres, RN. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Officials, particularly Barangay Captain Alzen John J. Icalina, as well as the Barangay Health Workers, for their support and cooperation in this endeavor.
